Yes it is clear why each disease is on the list. On the website it explains what each disease is and if it is very deadly.

I think the list is missing breast cancer and other types of cancers. Cancers kill so many people a year. I personally think it should be either number 2 or 3 because it really does kill a lot of people.

It was Monday at the Ocean-Hill School in Hawaii. It was 9:00 when Hannah said she hopes something funny happens at lunch. Hannah was having a bad day so she hoped it was going to be a good and funny lunch. She really had no idea what was ahead of her. It was 10:00 now and Hannah was getting really hungry and angry. She got a 20 on her history test and a 50 on her science quiz so she really just wanted to eat and be done with the day.

It was now 12, time for lunch. This was ninth and tenth graders lunch period. The school lunch was pasta and meatballs. This was a favorite for these kids, they loved it so much some kids got two lunches for themselves. It was the schools secret recipe. So once everyone got their lunches they all sat down in their proper seats when Big Mike sat in Johnny’s seat. These two boys were the most popular kids in the school. They played so many sports. Big Mike and Johnny HATE each other.

They hate each other so much because Big Mike’s dad is the coach of the varsity football team. Big mike wanted to be the only freshman on the team and Johnny was so much better then him. Since Big Mike’s dad was the coach only Big Mike made the team. Johnny and the other freshman who where capable of making it hate Big Mike because of that. Now Johnny and everywhere freshman will never make the varsity football team at Ocean-Hill because Big Mike and his dad hate them.

Johnny got really mad at Big Mike so he chucked a meatball across the room at Big Mike because Big Mike was sitting in Johnny’s seat. It splatted on his shirt and Big Mike stood up and yelled who did that. Everyone look and pointed at Johnny. Big Mike was furious, he ran up to the meatball tray and started firing at Johnny. Soon enough everyone was just throwing meatballs everywhere you looked.

Hannah always wanted to have a food fight at her own school. This mad her so happy until a plate of sauce came flying at her face and all over her brand new white shirt. The principal came and calmed everyone down. He took Big Mike and Johnny into his office and yelled at them for being childish at school then.

James Beard had once said, “Food is our common ground, universal experience”. This quote is very important because even though it talks about food, food can bring people together. Food brings people together by going to other states and countries trying their foods and if it is similar to yours. You meet a lot of people when buying food because many people want to explore other people’s culture and food choices. I do no think food is really “common ground” between all people because some people may not want to learn about others culture and the food they like to eat.

I think privacy is very important to people because somethings should be yours and yours only. You should keep your personal information to yourself like passwords, address, etc. Some people share too much to people they have never even met or know a little. Privacy is very important to people.

Will Rogers once said, “Everybody is ignorant, only on different subjects.” I personally feel like I agree with this quote from Will Rogers. This quote means that other people around you and yourself are ignorant, everyone that walks earth is ignorant, it is life. It is to make people pursue education and learning. Will Rogers wants people to reflect on this quote and learn from it. You may be ignorant but there is still some part of your heart and mind that is not and is caring and loving. You should be the bigger person and be caring and loving in those times where you want to show your ignorance.

This video is about this guy who went into the navy seals. He did the boot camp to see if he could qualify to go. He wanted to quit because it was so hard. He did not quit and he said that was one of his best choices. If he had quiet then he would not have had the experiences he had and he would not be the CEO of Patagonia. I would like to relate to this is some way when I am older. I would love to go to the Navy Seals and after college like he did. Going into the Navy is a big dream of mine. After the navy, I would like to become a doctor. When I was reading this I felt inspired to keep pushing when times are tough, when he was in training he wanted to quit but he kept pushing and he made it. I feel like if you want something you can get it no matter how hard/long it may take. I would love to go through what this man has gone through. Becoming a navy seal is a huge accomplishment because it is so hard to become one. Therefore this man inspired me to keep trying and one day you will make it.

I would like to work on studying better for the rest of this year. I would like to make more flashcards, kahoots, and quiz lets to help me progress in my grades. I want to get at least seventies and higher for midterms. I am going to study very hard.

I watched the talk given Rola Hallam: The doctors, nurses, and aid workers rebuilding Syria. She talked about how this children’s hospital had been bombed 6 times and she got a text message telling her it got bombed again. The people survived because the doctors and nurses helping them and Rola is so greatful for that. Rola’s friend is very important to her because right after she got out of the hospital she went out and helped others because she knew they needed help. The first line people have the most knowledge but they do not have the tools. Rola had sprinted to help the healthcare system in Syria. She made a campaign to make a new childrens hospital and it was built because all the people got together to help out. They named it Hope hospital because it has hope still. There can be change everywhere. Rola was very good at getting the audience intrigued, using he hands, and eye contact. The reason why these places are getting bombed is because there are mean people in the world who want to hurt others and their healthcare. Rola Hallam did a very nice job describing what is happening in Syria and it needs to stop.
